Job Description :

 

Seeking a Group Leader to supervise the ' Made To Order ' Assembly Department to insure efficiencies of all required processes.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Plan own cost budget in cooperation with Supervisor. Implement and monitor planned measures within his/her own field of delegation.

·         Responsible for planning and scheduling of all customer orders and production requirements of the Department in order to achieve quality, on time delivery at the lowest cost.

·         Trigger production orders (e.g. rework orders) based on material availability and assign work to staff.

·         Perform detailed capacity planning for the assigned team (including workforce planning).

·         Monitor deadlines, quality and activities performed within the field of responsibility. In case of discrepancies between target/actual, initiate corresponding quality oriented countermeasures and inform Supervisor.

·         Ensure effective and efficient assembly of sub-components and finished products.

·         Ensure regular inspection and packaging of products.

·         Take inventory and cycle count according to stock policy.

·         Ensure compliance with work time regulations.

·         Create qualifications and target agreements for his/her employees upon agreement with the responsible Manager.

·         Coordinate with Customer Service on customer orders and provide revisions on schedule changes.

·         Posting and back flushing to SAP all sales and production orders.

·         Coordinate Labeling (e.g. tagging, customer and service labels)

 

Requirements:

·         Forward thinking with good time management skills

·         1-3 years Supervisory experience

·         Background in Manufacturing experience a plus

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

·         Professional demeanor , and ability to multi task

·         Sense of urgency, Detail oriented

·         Computer literate
