Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider, has an opportunity for an experienced Grants Strategy Development and Administration Director. This position will be a part of the Strategy and Planning Department located at the BannerHealth SystemCenter in Central Phoenix, Arizona.

The Grants Strategy Development and Administration Director will be responsible for leading the development, research, administration and facilitation of the strategic planning of grants in accordance with organizational goals and objectives. This position promotes the company's strengths and strategies by developing and maintaining multifaceted relationships to support organizational marketing and outreach efforts as it relates to grants strategy and administration.

Requirements:

·        A strong knowledge in science, business and/or healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred

·        Strong knowledge of strategic planning, grants administration, grants compliance, A-133 audit requirements and business development typically achieved through seven years of related experience

·        Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and achievements with proven experience in healthcare, research, grants administration and performing business development, negotiations and communications

·        Proficiency in personal software applications, including word processing, generating spreadsheets and creating graphics/presentations

·        Highly effective verbal and written skills
