With a vast global network and a robust product pipeline and U.S. revenues exceeding $2.6 billion, we offer the opportunity for career fulfillment and the chance to make life the best it can be.  The Government Specialist in concert with the VA/DoD RDs account plans, the GS will be responsible for the creation and pull through of NHA Government (VA/DoD) sales plan, balance local issues with corporate goals and direction. Implement NHA strategies for top Federal accounts. Evaluate and recommend action on how the corporate portfolio can be optimized in key accounts.  Collaborate with current field reps and RSMs assist them in implementation of the NHA sales plans. Utilize Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals marketing resources and programs. Assist the field in the deployment of all marketing resources in all federal accounts. Implement a strategy for meeting market conditions current and future.  This territory covers  Washington State, California, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.  The ideal person would reside in San Francisco California .  Travel up to 80% is required for this territory. BA/BS Degree in healthcare science or business.  Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required. Hospital and government selling experience preferred. Expert knowledge of pharmaceutical pricing guidelines, sales procedures and products required. Demonstrate understanding of procedures for preparing bids and contracts within the federal markets i.e. BPAs and FSS pricing preferred.
