Our client is a manufacturer of industrial products.  They are currently seeking a highly motivated Government sales manager.  This person will be responsible for direct sales to end users in the governmental and military areas.  This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the way.  This position will report directly to the VP of sales and will interface with regional sales managers and territory sales reps. This is a key business strategy position and must have thorough knowledge of GSA schedules as well as various sole source contract experience.  This position will also help train field sales reps to call on government locations within their respective territories.

This position requires 5 years of direct outside sales experience to end users.  A Bachelors degree is required.  Significant knowledge of selling engineered components into the government sector. Experience training field sales reps is desired.  Most of these components will be used for Maintaining, repairing and operating vehicles, facilities or infrastructure.

This position can be located at Headquarters or for the right person, can be located remotely east of the Mississippi.  Some travel will be required.
