Primary Responsibilities include implementing communications initiatives to support Brinker's Government Relations, Political Action Committee (PAC), and related grassroots engagement programs. These duties may include but are not limited to: creating and executing a PAC solicitation strategy; developing and implementing a communication strategy to keep PAC members up to date with political, issue and PAC-related events; developing and implementing a communication strategy to keep team members aware of legislation and policy issues of interest to the Company; and responsible for implementing Brinker's grassroots communication when needed.

Secondary responsibilities include representing Brinker and its restaurant Brands on legislative matters of interest with key local and State elected officials and other key community opinion leaders. This will involve creating, or participating in industry coalitions or managing internal lobbying strategies.

This position requires a highly motivated, detail oriented, proactive individual possessing the ability to work well in a team environment and with all levels of management and team members. Candidate must be creative and resourceful, as well as pleasantly tenacious, in attracting and maintaining contributions to Brinker's political action committee.

College degree required in communications, political science or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and 3 to 5 years of retail, or restaurant experience. Candidate must be an excellent verbal and written communicator; and must be a team player and able to work with a diverse group of individuals.

This position may require 20% to 30% travel, including some overnight stays.
