Responsible for creating, coordinating and developing complete project proposals or plans. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Responsible for completeness of all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle and for obtaining appropriate approvals at each phase of the project Communicates with project staff to outline work plan, assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Coordinate and interface with other departments for project transition. Interview and coordinate with all levels of staff and/or clients to gather and document project requirements. Manages multi-project progress by establishing a regular meeting schedule with project teams. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progress on schedule and within budget and is successfully completed. Creates and communicates status reports for management, clients and the project team. Meet with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Tracks projects and issues closely, foster collaboration from both the business and technology groups and lead issue resolution meetings during a project. Facilitates regular project status meetings to assess progress versus milestones, and identify areas of potential concern in adequate time in order to mitigate risk. Provides updates to Management as required. Assumes responsibility for delivery by ensuring all components of the project are successfully completed. Assists with training of staff regarding project/product output, development of supporting materials, or documentation and client interface. Provides client-facing support for Project Implementation and/or internal implementation support including Sales/Account Management support for Business Development. Provides team representation and management of client interface regarding specific program aspects, such as RDS, eRx, or other new programs as defined by CMS.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience.
Four year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent organization and communication skills (both written and verbal) Proven leader and team player Strong client management skills and experience in a matrix management organization Driven and committed to overcome obstacles and deliver the project on time Delivery-focused, yet flexible and creative when called upon Ability to multi-task and prioritize as appropriate Well-developed facilitation and collaboration skills Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project Experience in PBM, pharmaceutical, or managed health care industry a plus.
