One of the nation's largest and highly recognized companies in the mortgage and banking industry is looking for successful and professional individuals with a solid mortgage background to join their organization in Irving, TX.

This is a contract opportunity that does have the possibility of being extended or possibly going permanent dependent upon performance in the government insuring auditor role.

Government Insuring Auditor - Job Description

The Government Insurer is responsible for auditing loan files to ensure compliance with the loan program and Government Agency (FHA or VA).

Specific responsibilities include the following:

Audit 10 loan files per day to ensure compliance with loan program and Government Agency (FHA or VA). Contact closing agents, branches, borrowers, and builders to retrieve final documentation and monitor the follow up of these documents.

Update the status on various computer software programs(Oracle, Time Tracker, etc.).

Input data into FHA Connection on the Internet.

Special tasks as needed

Additional Position Qualification:

Knowledge of government agency requirements as well as familiarity with mortgage documents.
