The following opportunity exist at our Kennedy Space Center, FL location:

 

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field plus 4-7 years of position related experience. Well versed in government contracting, FAR interpretation, fact-finding, cost and related accounting principles, negotiation, and administration of subcontracts. Extensive planning, organizational, communication, and analytical skills are required. Construction, Service Contract Act and support service subcontract experience is required. Must possess proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Background in proposal and business development highly desirable

 


Position Key Requirements:  Under direction of the department manager and lead, develops, negotiates, and administers specialized materials, equipment, construction and services subcontracts of high complexity and risk to fulfill authorized requirements, ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal and performance aspects. Identifies and coordinates qualified sources and recommended suppliers. Negotiates and coordinates complex/high dollar value additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations. Position requires continual interfacing with technical and administrative personnel. Extensive experience in the Government contracting environment. Functional in the areas of Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Payroll and Accounting.
