Job Responsibilities:
APC-MGE is looking to fill the position of Government Corporate Account Manager (CAM) on our Government Account Management Team. This postion may be located in West Kingston RI, Costa Mesa, CA, Austin TX or St Louis MO.

APC is seeking an individual for the position of Government Account Manager-Inside on our Government Account Management Team. This position will be responsible for proactively creating relationships and selling APC products and services to named Government entities. The candidate will be tasked to proactively identify, quantify, and pursue new business prospects, generate proposals and quotes as well as other duties as assigned.

This is an exciting position in one of the largest customer segments in the IT industry and will require an individual with the following skills: ability to fully understand complicated end user organizations - map accts, identify top opportunities related to all APC product families, large account selling skills; outstanding presentation, written and verbal skills; relentless attitude and desire to win and be a self starter.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 2-3 years of successful IT/Data Center sales experience to Government agencies. The candidate must have in depth knowledge of Siebel CRM Application, Data Center Facilities industry, Power and Cooling solutions and APC-MGE's entire product portfolio. A working knowledge of business process, profit and loss, market strategy, and financial terms are expected. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership, time-management, advanced organization skills, problem-solving abilities, and the aptitude to understand and explain technical information in simple terms. The successful candidate will also have the ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with assigned accounts. Superior oral and written communication skills are a must. Proficiency in the use of personal computers is required.
