Technical Sales Support Associate - ChicagoThis position is based in Chicago, IL.The area: Ad Serving Solutions and Technical ServicesDoubleClick, a Google company, enables top marketers, publishers and agencies to utilize DoubleClick's expertise in ad serving, rich media, video and affiliate marketing to help them make the most of the digital medium.
The role: Technical Sales Support AssociateAs a Technical Sales Support Associate, you'll provide management for highly complex technical issues escalated from other Support groups. You'll troubleshoot bugs, escalate issues with key engineering personnel and work with engineering, support and product management to resolve complex issues. You'll work with Engineering and Product Management to prioritize the development of bug fixes and new product features.
You bring a proven track record of analytical problem-solving and the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience. Ideally you're already familiar with online advertising and have experience working within the industry. You should have a high technical aptitude and enjoy hands-on learning in a fast paced environment. If you are passionate about providing great customer service and working on complex technical issues this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex technical issues.
Work with Engineering and Product Management on prioritization of fixes/features.
Send client notifications for service interruptions/outages.
Provide regular updates on issues to Support groups.
Build effective relationships with Support, Engineering and Product Management groups.
Qualifications: BA or BS degree from a top-tier university.
Proven ability to become expert in new technolgies in a short time frame.
Knowledge of SQL, HTML/JavaScript and experience troubleshooting clients' technical issues.
Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
Availability to provide off hours support on a rotating basis.
