Looking for a role in strategy and business development? At Google, teams of highly creative visionaries deconstruct and re-create businesses to meet our changing strategic and operational needs, enable innovation and establish more efficient business practices – helping the company continue to achieve its vast potential. They develop and manage complex strategic partnerships across a variety of product lines, including search, advertising, communication/collaboration platforms, mobile, video and e-commerce.  They support new product incubation and exploratory efforts and determine acquisitions and investments.  In short, they help shape the future of Google. 

 


Our Positions

 

We’re looking for business-minded, high-performing individuals in the following key areas:

 

Strategy and Business Operations leads company-wide strategic and operational initiatives critical to the ongoing growth of the company. Their projects include developing and implementing next-generation advertising products, defining strategies to optimize data center technology and operations, and establishing business initiatives for emerging markets. 

 

New Business Development works with Product, Engineering and other teams on new product incubation and exploratory efforts, technology and meta-data licensing, strategic partnerships, urgent special projects, and alternative distribution for existing and new business initiatives.

Corporate Development focuses on Google's worldwide growth by determining appropriate acquisitions and investments – and then executing and integrating them. These teams consist of experienced merger-and-acquisition leaders and deal integrators dedicated to identifying, acquiring and integrating Google's products of tomorrow.

 

Strategic Partner Development works cross-functionally to identify, structure and negotiate highly strategic and complex partnerships in a number of areas, including the distribution of Google Applications and search services, local advertising penetration, content acquisition, and online commerce.

Our US positions in strategy and business development are concentrated in the following locations, but we have opportunities in other cities as well:
