This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

The Enterprise team focuses on integrating Google's products and services into small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies. Consisting of high-achieving engineering, sales and marketing professionals, we work with a vast array of partners and customers to advance the company's mission of organizing the world's information to make it universally accessible and useful.

The role: Enterprise Technical Writer

We are looking for an energetic, proactive technical writer responsible for Postini product documentation, including administration and user manuals, context-sensitive help, and support centers. This position also develops materials to support the Enterprise Channel and Partner programs. The range and deadlines of assignments varies and some projects require fast turnaround.

This role requires learning technical material quickly and thoroughly, enjoying working hands-on with the products, and researching and understanding the customer profile and experience. As member of the Client Services group, the writer works closely and collaboratively with Customer Care, Enterprise Services, Engineering, and Product Management and Marketing groups.

Responsibilities:
Research, write, maintain, and publish high-quality documentation and online content, and ensure material is accessible and available to customers.
Investigate customer and partner use cases, support statistics, and documentation usage metrics to focus priorities and develop documentation solutions.
Participates in all aspects of documentation development from product planning through product release.
Represent an engaged, positive voice for customers' and partners' interactions with Google.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of relevant experience, such as technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing.
Experience with writing technical customer-facing materials, including online content.
Experience with email or security systems a plus.
Proven teamwork skills and flexibility.
Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects and assignments.
