The following position is virtual office / Texas Based. Looking for candidates in the Houston Texas area as well.
  Global Account Manager (GAM) CommScope Enterprise Solutions   Objectives:   The GAM/Regional GAM will manage assigned Global Customers and Target Accounts globally, or regionally. The GAM will formulate the global strategy in conjunction with CommScope sales leadership and with additional input on regional issues from regional GAM to ensure a truly global strategy. The GAM will demonstrate professional account leadership, and coordinate the tactical execution of the global strategy with the Regional GAM, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Directors and TSM’s. The GAM will identify all key decision makers and ensure CommScope employees have strong relationships across multiple levels within the Global Customer and Target Account. GAM will coordinate with local sales support teams, working closely with them to leverage their end-user and consultant relationships. The GAM will establish and maintain high level contact (executive level) within the Global Customer, with the goal of positioning SYSTIMAX as the exclusive global cabling solution. The GAM will be the first point of escalation for assigned Global Customer and Target Account must manage channel relationships as they pertain to the Global Customer.   Responsibilities:   ·              Overall accountability for Global Customer and Target Account penetration ·              Develop and nurture direct relationship with Global Customers and Target Accounts at the highest possible level, to drive corporate global cabling specification ·              Coordinate regional and local sales teams, leveraging their relationships to provide overall Global Account Management. Further coordinate with other regional GAM outside of customers HQ region to provide a targeted, structured global account management and account strategy ·              Manage day-to-day high level distributor and Business Partner relationships globally as they effect the customer at a global level ·              Ensure individual account progress and strategies are sufficiently communicated to the Global Customer Solutions Team ·              Develop, maintain and document regional customer contact and profile information ·              Continue to update and manage the flow of information at a global/regional level to customer, including, but not restricted to, presentations, web based portal access or hard copy literature and documentation ·              Ensure the Global Accounts have access to the benefits outlined in the Global Corporate Partner Program (i.e. E-business platform, literature, training, newsletters, etc) ·              Create and manage a Roadmap document as it relates to the customers strategy inclusive of all regions.  

Requirements:   A Bachelor’s degree in a related field of Business or Marketing is preferred, and a minimum of 5 years outside sales experience is required. Sales experience in selling telecommunications products, preferable wire and cable required. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years outside sales experience will be considered. Candidates should be self-motivated with demonstrated sales ability. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Frequent travel required.
