At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a GL Accountant in our Englewood, CO location.

A staff level position in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to perform account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting and analysis.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare reconciliations and roll forwards of accounts
- Manage month end close process - accruals, reconciliations, reporting, account review and analysis related to particular selling companies
- Review various balance sheet accounts and ensure these accounts are accurately reflected in the financial statements
- Provide support to various selling companies to ensure all activity is recorded in the general ledger in a timely basis
- Work collaboratively with and provide support to other groups within Arrow ECS to ensure all activity is recorded in the general ledger in a timely manner


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· BS in Accounting/Finance and 2 years plus related experience within the accounting field or High School diploma or equivalency with 5 - 7 years related experience within accounting
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to communicate with various functional organizations and levels of management
· Ability to assume responsibility, make decisions and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
· Strong accounting background with the ability to prepare reconciliations and account roll-forwards
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Access and Excel, including pivot tables, macros, queries, etc.
· Strong aptitude to understand accounting systems and how to extract information
· Strong cross-functional team player, able to prioritize under stress to meet deadlines
· High level of attention to detail, required in managing analytical tasks
· Ability to work with international operations and account for operations with various functional currencies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· CPA or desire to complete CPA requirements
· Experience in public accounting
· Experience with intercompany accounting
· Master degree
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
· Oracle
