As General Manager, you will plan, direct and control the operations of multiple food service outlets including concessions,catering, and suites. You will be responsible for the development & growth of management teams, as well as meeting operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs. The General Manager will have daily interaction with the client and client's customers and/or employees. Candidate must also be flexible to work evenings, weekends and some holidays as you would support the sporting event schedules. This position reports to the Resident District Manager at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or other related field, plus a minimum of 2-4 years experience in a high volume food service environment. Experience managing catering/banquet operations a plus. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management and ARAMARK support staff is also important. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable. Total P&L responsibility with oversight of concessions, retail, restaurant, suites and catering.
