Consonus Pharmacy Services is designed to meet the specific needs of residents of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Our clinical pharmacists screen medications for their potential to cause or contribute to common geriatric problems. Our distribution system assures each resident’s safety and peace of mind by controlling all aspects of acquisition, storage and management of medications.

Consonus is currently recruiting for a General Manager of Pharmacy Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduate with a BS from an accredited School of Pharmacy

· Registered Pharmacist

· 3-5 years experience in Long Term Care Pharmacy

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents

· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

· Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format

· Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and or boards of directors

· Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives

· Directs and coordinates activities of department or division for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives

· Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives

· Confers with VP and President and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions

· Serves as member of management committees on special studies

· Market and direct sales personnel to obtain and sign new accounts

· Retain existing accounts through constant dialogue to administration of accounts, maintaining quality service levels, and exceeding accounts expectations

· Manages several subordinate supervisors who subsequently supervise employees in departments of consulting, pharmacy, secretarial, human resources, purchasing, AR and billing
