We serve amphitheaters, sports stadiums and arenas, conference centers, national and state parks, convention centers, zoos, science centers and aquariums.  With ARAMARK, catering and concessions services will not simply be taken care of – they will be taken to a new level of excellence.   POSITION OBJECTIVE We are currently seeking a food service professional to be the General Manager for one of our unique accounts in Mobile, Alabama.  The General Manager will oversee the client relationship, have financial accountability and motivate a management team of salaried managers and front line employees.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the client relationship at the account in Mobile while providing hands on execution management of operations P&L responsibility in partner with District Manager Developing new concepts to increase existing revenue sources for public foods/concessions and catering outlets Partner with the DM to plan and execute business development strategy for growth.  Execute business plans for the operation Recruitment and development of new and existing managers Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred  6 to 8 years of successful experience in operations management in a high volume food service environment with a combination of catering/banquets, restaurants, and concessions/public foods.  Convention or sports venue experience is strongly preferred Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on financial analysis Experience with creating new and innovative approaches to established business locations Demonstrated ability to lead multiple outlets Demonstrated success working and building effective internal relationships that move the business forward within highly matrixed, team-based environments Strong presentation skills as well as solid written communication skills. Strong focus on customer service delivery.
