General Manager, Commercial Operations Location U.S. National  (RIF. GM)

 

The open position is for a General Manager for the  US office  of a company that is an international leader in marketing professional hair care products .

The person holding this position would have the responsibility to create the structure and manage the organization in order to meet and exceed the potential estimated for this business in the North American territory.  The position physical location is negotiable..

It is expected that the individual will initially have a strong and constant handle on the day to day operations of the group, ensuring the achievements of the short and long term business goals.  These goals are to be measured in terms of increased profit and market share within the context of the overall Division plan, in addition, he or she will need to develop matrices and procedures that track performance and optimise sales and profitability.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 6 years experience in the filed of personal care, preferably with a solid understanding of the channel through which professional products for hair stylists are distributed in the United States and Canada.

The will likely to have a history of progressively senior sales roles within Healthcare or personal care industries, and will have at least 3 years experience managing direct reports.

 

As an additional requirement, the candidate must be fluent in English and in another language, preferably Italian or Spanish.

 

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor level degree in a business discipline or a B.Sc. in a scientific discipline with an additional degree in Business.

 

Profile required: adaptability, communication and organisational skills, dynamism, tenacity and negotiating skills.
