Sodexo is seeking an experienced leader as an Environmental Services General Manager for an 80 bed acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. This position is responsible for the Environmental Services Department; leading the 36 employees as they provide quality housekeeping and linen distribution services to the hospital community. The General Manager's primary task is to transform the department's culture to one that is patient focused and service-oriented. Implementing Sodexo programs, driving patient satisfaction and understanding and exceeding the client's expectations are the major initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position will have housekeeping experience and technical skills as well as demonstrated expertise in driving employee performance and process change while delivering quality customer service. Excellent housekeeping, customer service, problem solving and team building skills are needed for this position.
