Federal Aviation Administration, Air Traffic Organization, Operations Planning Services, Systems Engineering and Safety Office, NAS Enterprise Architecture Group, AJP-1500

Serves as a member of the NAS Enterprise Architecture Group, AJP-15, responsible for providing system engineering support and guidance to the automation programs within the ATO service units to ensure alignment with NextGen. Engages with the automation programs to assist with defining future capabilities for automation systems. Provides support to programs in the development of near and mid-term roadmap and automation evolution. Provides guidance to program offices to ensure compliance with NAS Enterprise Architecture, systems, and safety requirements. Works with the program office in the development of Enterprise Architecture roadmap decision points and provides support to the NAS Architecture Group in the monitoring and reporting of automation roadmap decision points. Provides support in the development of requirements, designs and safety analyses. Participates in complex studies of future automation systems. Participates with the program offices, NAS Arthictecure and ATO Planning in the development of concepts of use for future automation systems and interface requirements. Uses knowledge of computer-based information sharing tools and applications, data processing functions and general management principles to electronically disseminate information using automated computer or internet-based methods.
