We are looking for entry level, as well as experienced architects, to develop as Army operational architects to produce architecture products IAW the DoD Architecture Framework. Must understand and have the ability to decompose Joint/Army warfighting concepts and capabilities to task/activity level of detail and derive associated information exchange requirements. This includes the necessity to describe critical operational activity sequence and timing to support warfighting functions. Review products, conduct mission and gap analysis, and propose solutions that translate operational concepts into relevant information to support Army institutional processes. Participate in discussion/working groups/conferences with external organizations. Maintain currency on Joint, Army and TRADOC concepts, doctrine, regulations, directives and procedures.

Requirements: Strong oral and written communications skills required. At least 5 years of Army experience (desire former Senior NCOs or Officers) and knowledge of Army organizations, concepts, doctrine, and regulations desired. Ability to review Army Concepts and Capabilities and conduct decomposition of their associated activities and tasks desired. Must have aptitude to quickly master Architecture Development automation tools. Prior experience in OA development desired, but not required. Additional experience in combat developments and/or acquisition process desired. Former Army junior commissioned officer or mid to senior grade noncommissioned officer who have aviation, infantry, chemical, military police, intelligence, logistics, engineer, field artillery, air defense artillery, armor or signal experience. SECRET clearance required. Onsite training and development will be provided. Four year degree required: BS Information Management, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
