Established Credit Union has an immediate need for a part time BILINGUAL Bank Teller/Customer Service Representative. This position offers flexible part time hours as follows: 2pm until 6:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as 8:45am until Noon on Saturday. This position involves receiving money, paying out money and keeping all records involved in financial transactions. Job duties include, but are not limited to receiving checks and cash for deposit, verifying amounts and examining checks for endorsements. This person would cash checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Other duties include entering customers' transactions into the computer, issuing computer generated receipts, placing holds on accounts for uncollected funds, ordering daily supply of cash, and counting incoming cash. This person would balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. This job requires the ability to explain, promote, and sell products or services such as travelers checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier's checks. This person is expected to promote and implement the bank's sales culture and service philosophies. Individual must possess High School diploma or GED, strong financial math skills, good written and oral communications skills and strong customer service abilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Bank teller experience, Credit union experience, cash management and customer service skills are ideal. Spanish Bilingual skill set is a must.

Qualifications :
