We are currently searching for a bookkeeper/controller to operate a small Real Estate office and perform various accounting and office duties including:

n      Review general ledger postings and assist CFO with journal entries

n      Manage company payroll on weekly basis using ADP PayExpert and benefit administration such as 401k and health insurance

n      Administer personnel information such as vacation time and salary reviews

n      Banking functions and administer and reconcile several bank accounts

n      Accounts receivable & payable (includes bills verification and payment processing)

n      Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual city business fees and sales tax

n      Assist CFO in coordinating with external private and government auditors

n      Assist VP and CFO with various assignments and ventures

Required Skills

The ideal candidate is a hard working, self-starter with accounting and general office experience preferably in the real estate or property management field. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting a plus. Must have 3 years experience in an accounting role. Working in a small office so must be able to get along with people. Must be PC literate and have a working knowledge of the following applications:
