As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will greet our clients and Pets in a warm, friendly and welcoming manner.  You will drive the flow of the clients and Pets through the hospital while maximizing the productivity of the veterinary medical team and ensuring excellent communication with team members and clients.

In addition to routing the flow of clients, you will actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and ensuring superior client care. You will encourage hospital visits and welcome clients and Pets to make sure that they are comfortable in the hospital.  You will educate them about the Pet's health, including Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, Pet health needs, and hospital services. As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will be assisting incoming clients by completing required documentation, entering all Pet information and history in the computer, and utilizing proper collars and tags for identification.

You will use your outstanding customer service skills to assist outgoing clients by providing all necessary instructions and information while dispensing prescription items per the Veterinarian's instructions.  You will also sell our retail products and schedule future appointments to help keep Pets healthy.

Requirements for the position include:

·          High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled) required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

·          Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

·          Must be comfortable around Pets

·          Friendly, outgoing and honest
