Job Description
Primary responsibility of the Fresh Snack Field Representative (FSFR) is to take approved programs and processes and implement them at grocery retailers. The FSFR and balance of the field marketing/management team owns the stores, and is the most crucial link to Chippery's success. They manage all aspects of Chippery marketing and merchandising programs at store level to ensure the message of quality, freshness and the ultra-premium snack food message is delivered in an impactful manner, and that Chippery is the customers more profitable snack offer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal and coaching skills and a desire to be on the front-line interacting with the customer. As an FSFR you represent Chippery and are committed to its success at store level.
Responsibilities
o Implement and oversee store-level training, marketing & merchandising programs (store openings, price promos, employee incentive programs, cross promotions, sampling, etc.).
o Coach store associates on producing the best quality potato chips, merchandising the product, sampling and interacting with store shoppers to engage them in the Chippery experience
o Build relationships with store managers and department managers (e.g., deli/bakery)
o Research and gather retail snack food industry information.
o Produce store performance reports (QC, merchandising, store sales)
o Prepare store performance analyses, identify gaps, recommend programs and processes that lead to continuous improvement and profitability; review and share with store management
o Audit retail skills / capabilities of store staff, as well as product quality.
o Review inventory status of raw ingredients, finished product and other supplies.
o Maximize retail sales.

Qualifications
o 2-3 years of store-level retail marketing/merchandising experience (preferably in supermarkets, but not required)
o College degree preferred, but not required.
o Commitment to client service and team/management relationship building.
o Average skills in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
o Innovative, with a keen interest to learn and challenge the status quo.
o Reliable transportation, available for overnight travel, and weekend work.
