The Opportunity:  Experienced Restaurant Managers & Sous Chefs

 

We are looking for experienced Restaurant Managers and Chefs with 2-5 years of experience, that enjoy working in a fast paced environment where guest service and food quality are top priorities.

We are a private restaurant organization currently operating in three markets throughout the Southwest in Arizona, Texas and Colorado. Fox Restaurant Concepts (FRC) own and operate 11 different concepts for a total of 23 restaurants.  While we are rapidly growing, we do not consider ourselves a “chain” in the conventional sense. Rather, FRC is a boutique, independent restaurant group. Our goal is to grow as a restaurant group adding structure and standards, while maintaining the individual personality of each unique concept and restaurant.

Restaurant Managers – Tucson

 

Summary of Position:

Individuals must be experienced, serious about their trade, have a passion for food and wine and must be able to deliver high service standards.   We focus on individuals who are dedicated to consistently driving high standards and achieving service excellence. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills, a high energy level, and a desire to take on more responsibility. 

 

Position specifics can include but are not limited to:

•           2-5 years of current restaurant management experience

•           Daily operation ensuring excellence in execution of food, service and ambiance

•           Recruiting, hiring & training crew members

•           Scheduling & organizing crew member shifts and efficiently managing labor

•           Overseeing the restaurant P&L’s and vendor management

•           Maintain community, vendor, and local business contacts

•           Execute and maintain a concierge program with nearby hotels and resorts

•           Maintain high guest service standards

•           Conflict resolution

•           Managing restaurant maintenance and cleanliness

 

Sous Chef - Tucson

 

Summary of Position:

As a member of the Fox Restaurant Concepts kitchen team, it is your primary responsibility to prepare the highest quality food consistently and effectively. You play an integral part in the financial results of your position. It is your responsibility to accurately and efficiently cook meats, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking.

 

 

•           Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards and holds employees accountable for meeting them.

•           Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations, policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy.

•           Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement and provides ongoing feedback. Consistently follows company policies, procedures and industry regulations, maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, completes performance reviews timely.

•           Responsible for overall daily food preparation in assigned area.

•           Responsible for requisitioning food supplies.

•           Schedules employees for the preparation of the menu. Ensures meal preparation meets established standards. 

•           Maintains assigned facility and equipment in sanitary, clean and operational condition.

Implements established safety policies and procedures.

•           Recommends staff changes including hiring, promotion, demotion and termination.
