Finance, Planning, and Analysis Manager
Are you looking for a chance to make an impact? A leading manufacturer is seeking a highly motivated individual, interested in an upwardly mobile career track, to fill a FP&A Manager role in NC. This newly created position is designed as a direct path to a controller role.
Position Responsibilities
This position requires the individual to create timely and accurate financial reports and transactions, perform in depth cost analysis and special financial projects. This person must have the ability to communicate with co-workers, management, vendors and corporate executives. Some of the essential functions include:
· Develop cost trends projecting overspend analysis for Operations, Engineering and Quality departments
· Analysis and reporting to support weekly Operations meetings
· Weekly and monthly scorecard for operations
· Mid-month estimates and analysis of variances
· Monthly forecasting
· Inventory analysis
· Monthly closing functions
· Management financial reporting both corporate and local
· Annual Operating Planning and Standard Product Cost preparation
· Assist plant personnel with SAP effective usage
· Capital projects and continuous improvement savings review
Skills / Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
· 5 years experience in analysis experience, cost accounting, and inventory management in manufacturing cost environment
· Must have strong Microsoft Excel computer skills (Access also helpful)
· SOX and SAP experience desired
· CPA and/or CMA certification a plus
· Desire to grow professionally with a manufacturing organization including a willingness to relocate for growth opportunities.
· Exposure to Lean and/or Six Sigma a plus.
