The Warren Group is looking for a Structural Engineer for their Wilmington, Delaware office. Ideal candidates should have a degree in either Structural or Civil Engineering fields, excellent oral and written communication skills, be a licensed PE, and have the ability to qualify as an expert witness. Duties would involve conducting technical investigations regarding building defects/failures, assessing any personal or property losses caused by these defects or failures.Investigate and assess damage and losses which are the result of hurricanes, hail, tornados, and floods. Perform inspections on various types of structures and materials. This could include but may not be limited to,concrete slabs, footings, roofing, wood framing, and masonary walls. Perform assessments of parking garages , commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. If it is necessary, become involved in investigating fire related damage, water intrusion, codes and standards.
