Don't miss this outstanding opportunity to get your healthcare foodservice career moving!  As the Foodservice Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the successful operation of foodservice production/patient services under the direction of the Patient Services Manager.  You will perform a variety of duties to include the planning and supervision of patient meal service, sanitation and safety, and supervision, scheduling and training of personnel.  Additionally, you will ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient uses of resources.

Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills Good communication skills both written and verbal Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions Exhibit courtesy, tact and reasonable speed in performance of duties

Necessary Ingredients:

 

Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years of directly related experience preferred Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of hospital or adult home/care experience preferred, depending upon formal degree or training One (1) to three (3) years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable ServSafe® certified Certified Dietary Manager certificate preferred but not necessary Must be able to pass criminal background check
