Food and Beverage Supervisor

 

Job Description:

 

Ensure an efficient and courteous environment on the gaming floor based on a high degree of customer service.

 

Duties:

·        Assist in providing work and break schedule (shift, station and team assignments).

·        Provide support or efficient service on the gaming floor, ensuring maximum utilization of servers available while ensuring the guests are quickly served.

·        Communicate with guests, ensuring that all requests are met.  Handle all guest disputes to guest’s satisfaction.

·         Participate and conduct training covering various hospitality topics.  Ensures proper training of personnel including sequence of service and “ServSafe” guidelines.

Assist in the enforcement of all Casino and F&B Department policies and procedures.  Assist and support management to insure a smooth operation while exceeding the guest’s expectations.Supervise and maintain a presence throughout the shift.  Notify management of any floor service problems.Inspect the service stations for opening and closing.Evaluate service level being provided and adjust floor coverage accordingly, preventing unmanageable workload and unnecessary overtime in any situation.  Provides input to assist managers with performance evaluations of team members.Perform other duties as assigned.Participate and support the “Champion Training Program” which is designed to produce advocates for Table Mountain Casino.  Supervisors are responsible for encouraging staff to become fully involved in this guest service program.

Requirements:

Requires three years of Buffet or Full Service Restaurant supervisory or management experience.Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication and excellent guest service skills required.  High School diploma or equivalent preferred.  Must be at least 21 years of age.
