Sunrise Senior Living Fox Hill Bethesda, Maryland Food and Beverage Manager Sunrise Senior Living, the nation?s leader in senior living, is developing an innovative luxury full service, 240 condo community in Bethesda, Maryland. Fox Hill, a high-end equity based community, will allow seniors to own their condos while receiving all the hospitality features of a fine luxury hotel. The independent living senior condominium community is slated to open early autumn of 2008. We are seeking a creative Food and Beverage Manager with hotel or restaurant start-up experience for our elegant senior living condominium community, Fox Hill, in Bethesda, Maryland. The Food and Beverage Manger will be responsible for dining venues that include an elegant 5-star formal dining room, an informal dining room, casual grill, full bar and lounge and a coffee bar. The successful candidate will provide supervision to the food service dining team, manage the dining flow and be responsible for over all excellence in customer satisfaction. The manager will administer and supervise all activities of food and beverage service in multiple venues while maintaining a high level of culinary service. A background in wine would be helpful. The manager will have the ability to lead, mentor and train. Qualified candidates must possess a dedication to seniors and a positive can-do attitude along with the following demonstrated skills: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor?s degree or related culinary degree with a minimum of five years of industry and culinary management experience. Previous experience with major hotel conference center, country club, or fine dining is a plus. The ability to manage in a high-end environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role.
