Position Summary: This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining the configuration relating to Finance activities within the SAP software and assignment and maintenance of all SAP security roles. Liaison between the user community of Financial Accounting personnel and the IT department. Participate in development of system solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Software Systems
- Maintenance of master data to support FI/CO modules of SAP.
Configuration (which includes but is not limited to)
- On going maintenance/troubleshooting as requested from the users/customers.
- Develop the maximum functionality of the software to help users/customers utilize the system to improve processes.
- Consult and mentor users at new plant/acquisitions to configure systems to best meet their needs.
Training
- Create user guides for processes within SAP.
- Facilitate hands on training for new users and periodic reviews for existing users.
Reporting
- Develop reporting based on user requirements.
- Standardize reporting for all areas.
2. Security
A. Develop an understanding of our security software in an effort to fully utilize the software, support the SAP security needs of the corporation and provide for accurate, cost effective and timely security assignment.
B. Assist in the management of security operations as well as policy and procedures development associated with system access which are compliant with current SOX regulations.
C. System security roles development and maintenance necessary to address customer needs.
D. Assignment of appropriate system security
- Daily review, follow up and closure associated with security requests.
- SOD avoidance and only when necessary, assignment of acceptable SOD mitigations.
- Develop and submit new SOD mitigation proposals as necessary.
3. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Job Skills Requirements:

· Ability to work independently.
· Proven organization, planning, and project management skills.
· Strong computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting, related field or equivalent education/experience.
· CPA certification preferred, but not required.
Experience Requirements:
· 2 - 5 years of working experience in SAP software
