Fixed income securities remain a cornerstone for the portfolio of most Edward Jones' clients. You now have the opportunity to join a team of highly motivated associates in helping meet that financial need! The Fixed Income Service Department is seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Service Specialist. Responsibilities include working with our branch offices to provide accurate, technical, operational, and educational information for fixed income related investments; including CDs, corporate, government, municipal, and mortgage-backed securities. In addition, qualified candidates will have the challenge of determining market levels for fixed income securities, as well as executing sell orders versus firm and other broker/dealer positions. Responsibilities
Answer branch-office phone calls and wires relating to technical, operational and procedural questions for CDs, corporate, government and municipal bonds and mortgage-backed securities
Be knowledgeable of industry laws and regulations
Research financial/investment information to provide to branch offices
Develop customer relations with branch offices
Provide branch offices with excellent service
Educate and explain financial/investment procedures and general information to branch- offices associates
Place trades when needed
Assist in training and mentoring new associates

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred.
Series 7 and 66 required within four months of hire.
Strong presentation, written, verbal, and listening skills required.
Detail oriented with excellent customer service skills and a high level of proficiency in mathematics is essential.
Must have an understanding of fixed income securities, the interest rate environment, and capital markets.
Strong problem solving skills necessary.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to learn and work in a dynamic team environment.
Highly motivated to excel in a fast-paced challenging position.
