Financial Business Analyst – Greensboro, NC

Role Purpose –

To support the current PP Finance team in delivering:

·         Financial Analysis and Decision Support services to commercial groups

·         Ad hoc reports and data to key stakeholders

·         As appropriate, to support monitoring and ensure compliance with statutory and fiscal reporting requirements as well as Syngenta internal requirements

·         Assist in marketing program exposure analysis and facilitate redemption process

Accountabilities –

·         Support the co-ordination, calculation and understanding of  budgets, forecasts, and latest estimates including presentation and interaction with management

·         Assist in managing finance activities required in support of the business / function

·         As appropriate, assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal and fiscal requirements ensuring Syngenta licence to operate

·         Build relationships by interacting with key commercial/functional managers

·         Assist in reviewing and seeking continuous improvement in processes

·         Support Finance initiatives and programs, as required; this will require basic project management skills in performing process analysis, redesign and implementation of process changes

·         Demonstrate strong leadership and behavorial abilities necessary to assume sole support of a commercial business unit

Knowledge, Skills & Experience –

·         Bachelor/Master in Finance or Accounting

·         CPA certification preferred

·         Approximately 5 years experience in financial analysis/controlling

·         Solid understanding of financial statements

·         Good experience in the understanding and effective communication of financial information to non-financial staff

·         Sound experience in budgetary control, risk management and management of full financials
