Tenet is currently seeking a Financial Assistance Representative for Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE. The Financial Assistance Representative is responsible for the following:

 

Evaluates recommendation to approve or deny charity and indigent care for compliance to Tenet policies including: accurate calculations of income and expenses, exhaustion of payer sources and credit reportsKeeps accurate logs of accounts approved or denied for financial assistance.Reviews accounts with partial adjustments.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; 4 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or preferred 1-2 years experience as a TFAC processor 2-3 years experience in Healthcare Administration or Business Office Minimum of two years in healthcare environment setting in one of the following areas: hospital admitting, medical billing and one year of private collections preferred. Knowledge of governement programs preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong PC skillStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks with little supervisionExcellent organizational and follow through skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to make independent decisionsStrong mathimatical skills
