Job SummaryThis position performs the finance, accounting and operations support activities for a varying number of Hilton managed properties. Responsibilities include: Monthly financial reporting Forecasting Budgeting Asset Management Operations Analysis Decision Making Responsibilities (with supervision)
Basic Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Minimum of 2 years of applicable (accounting) experience - Minimum of 2 years advanced proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, and Windows) - BA or BBA in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications- CPA or MBA - Accounting knowledge of industry standards, Hilton Standard Practice Instructions (SPIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - General analytical skills and able to apply to practical situations - Strong communication skills (all levels of management and external customers) - Financial and operational analytical skills (operational analysis) - Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities - Ability to interpret legal contracts, management agreements, joint venture agreements, financing arrangements, banking structures, etc. - Ability to anticipate and solve problems in a timely fashion - Proficiency in computer skills (PeopleSoft, Navision, Essbase)
