Description: SUMMARY
This position will serve as the Reporting Analyst for the system ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial statements with established controls and procedures as defined by GAAP and Company Policy. This person must effectively communicate financial issues, analysis, and variances to the Finance Manager, Director of Finance/Accounting, VP of Business Operations, all Senior Team members, and be able to interact with all levels within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
-Liason to Customer Operations and SDCCC.
-Prepares monthly Journal Entries pertaining to areas of expertise for both the Orange County/Palos Verdes (OCPV) and Santa Barbara (SAB) systems.
-Prepares monthly internal reporting for both the OCPV and SAB systems.
-Prepares Quarterly Revenue Share for MultiLink and HomeLink programs.
-Prepares the OCPV Field Service (FSR) Labor Model and SDCCC budgets.
-Assist with other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by the Finance Leadership team.
-Provide exceptionally good customer service daily to all internal and external customers.
-Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-Other duties may be assigned, as needed. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a 4 - year degree from an accredited University with Major in Finance, Accounting , Business Administration or equivalent. Oracle experience highly desired with a minimum of 4 years of Accounting or Finance experience. Must be experienced and knowledgeable in Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reporting in compliance with GAAP and Accounting standards. Must have strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees throughout the organization.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required for interacting with various departments, system personnel, and
various levels of management.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office. Must possess General Ledger system experience, preferably with Oracle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit. Must possess the physical ability to frequently use repetitive motions of the wrist, and/or fingers; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds. The vision requirements include: ability to adjust focus and close vision as well the ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time. Must effectively manage personal and work-related stress.
