To support and validate UHN network contracting and unit cost management activities through financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. This position is responsible for ensuring UHN and UHC health services unit cost and profitability objectives are achieved in the assigned market(s).
Support network pricing strategies and tactics, in collaboration with local network field leaders and network managers. Conduct unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies. Produce network pricing metrics, reports, and communication. Use appropriate network pricing models and analytical tools. Train and support field network managers in the appropriate use of network pricing models and analytical tools. Coordinate with regional network pricing and trend analysis areas to communicate relevant unit cost and network pricing information. College Degree or higher required. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Three or more years analytical experience in healthcare pricing, network management, or related discipline, preferred but not required. Excellent financial impact analysis, risk management, and data manipulation skills. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation and communication skills. Sound understanding of healthcare data, trends, reserving, and reporting.
