Description: Manages the planning and direction of financial analysis projects and/or reporting. Focus is on driving results for the Central Region via effective relationships with matrix partners. Monitors and evaluates financial project progress and results to determine improvements in procedures needed to meet ultimate objectives. Provides guidance and leadership to others on the team and matrix partners. Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or other related field. Four plus years in health care and/or insurance..- Identify opportunities and partner to execute actions for improved results - Support and participate in the Regional segment membership and earnings results/projection process to ensure understanding of our business.
- Provide a monthly summary of results and variances between underwriting expected actions and accounting actual results, identifying drivers by appropriate categories (new, lost, BBDs, etc.).
- Work with specialty partners to understand and drive results
- Plan an integral part in the regions management process
- Ensure accuracy and understanding of underlying activity metrics (RFPs, no quotes, etc.)
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure understanding of market opportunity
- Collaborate with peers in other regions to develop and share knowledge & best practices. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or other related field.
