Ernst & Young Finance & Performance Management (F&PM) helps clients with business performance through a focus on providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits in operational effectiveness and strategic decision making.
As a member of Ernst & Young's F&PM team, the Senior Manager leads multiple client engagement teams, works with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and is responsible for business development activities on strategic priority accounts.
F&PM services include: Finance Function Strategy; Finance Organizational Design and Development; Finance Operational Effectiveness; Finance and Operational Systems Effectiveness; and Management Information and Decision Support.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and a strategy that addresses risk and performance improvement. Manage expectations of service delivery. Stay informed of business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up to date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

To qualify, candidates must have:
a bachelor's and/or master's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, MIS (business perspective) and/or businessa minimum of 8 years of experience in providing advisory services in the finance function and other operational areas that impact the finance function (e.g., order to cash; procure to pay; close to report; budgeting and planning; shared services/outsourcing)experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation supporta demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the C level of Fortune 500 companiesexperience in program management for large-scale business transformation projects and programsthe ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (and know when to lead and when to follow)experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members strong analytical and problem-solving skillsexcellent oral and written communication skillsa high level of motivation and a self-starting attitudean ability to think outside of the box, and thrive on new challengesa strong work ethica willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%
