The Financial Manager will assist the Finance Director in the forecasting, budgeting and analysis of multiple manufacturing locations.  This includes providing all profit and loss analysis. The position is located in Oak Brook and will report to the Finance Director.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Analyze and report the monthly financial results including variance analysis to prior year and budget and plant unit cost performanceCoordinate the monthly forecast process with approximately 20 plants and consolidate, analyze, and report the final resultsLead and coordinate the annual budget process for approximately 20 plants, providing assumptions, reporting requirements, and analysis of their submissionsDevelop three-year financials for the annual Strategic Plan process, incorporating market and productivity trends by working closely with Business Unit Operations and SalesPrepare financial presentations for Business Unit management meetingsMonitor compliance with internal controls and policies and prepare necessary business unit disclosuresPrepare balance sheet analysis schedules and analyze significant variancesPrepare supporting schedules as required for quarterly and year-end reporting requirementsPerforms other duties as directed

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experienceCPA and/or MBA preferredAudit background or an accounting background in a publicly traded companyStrong oral and written communication skillsOversee the timely completion of multipleComplex tasks concurrently
