Description: Position Overview
The Finance Manager will prepare the Statements of Work detailing the monthly and once-off fees for AIG Business Units and provide analytical support for projects and the business case process across AIG Operations and Systems. The Financial Manager will manage the financial review and approval process in accordance with policies established for corporate governance.
The position will report to O&S Finance and will interact with the following staff/groups:
•O&S CFO, CIO, COO, and other O&S Executives
•O&S Project Managers
•Business unit Project Managers and financial staff
•AIGGS project managers and financial staff
•IT Vendor Management
Position Description
•Manage the business case and statement of work financial review and approval process. Develop a thorough understanding of control systems and corporate governance policies.
•Review business cases and statements of work, establish effective cost tracking, benefit realization tracking, and chargeback procedures for approved business cases and statements of work.
•Prepare all non-rate card based inter-company charges and ensure all charges originating from statements of work are captured by the automated billing system.
•Prepare, review, and analyze financial information including the standardization of reporting formats to collect information and report findings.
•Develop the financial business case and supporting models for major projects. Acquire a thorough understanding of project benefits and the extent and timing of investment spending.
•Present financial evaluations and recommendations to the O&S and Business Unit management and financial teams.
•Collaborate with the Business Units, Project Managers, and ITVM to fully develop financial plans and track progress.
