FINANCE MANAGER

World renowned, multi-office structural engineering company headquartered in Sacramento is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team. The qualified candidate must meet the following requirements:

1) Working knowledge of Deltek Vision software or similar (Solomon, etc.) is preferred

2) Minimum of five years of finance experience in the architecture/engineering field

3) Strong background in finance in the architecture/engineering field (minimum five years of finance experience) with duties to include, but not limited to:

a. Prepare detailed budget plans , overhead costs reports and cash flow projections

b. Coordinate month-end close, enter journal entries, prepare/review month end financials and key financial indicators

c. Provide finance narrative report monthly

d. Implement weighted proposal procedures and incorporate into financial projections, along with contracted backlog

e. Contract administration/project set up: Review contracts and update Vision files, including review of billing terms

f. Assist in AR/project accounting, as needed, in accordance with contract terms and project schedules

g. Project/financial analysis: Review of project status reports for billing/cost discrepancies and provide recommendations

4) Needs to be a hands-on team player with the ability to troubleshoot any issues that may come up

5) Strong oral and communication skills

6) Ability to work with minimum supervision

Client offers an attractive overall benefits package, including medical/dental/vision.  Salary range is between $55,000-70,000.

Salary/Pay Rate: $55,000-68,000
