Georg Utz, Inc., a leading manufacturer of plastic storage and transport containers, component holders, and pallets, is seeking a motivated individual to join the Utz team as Finance Manager.

 

The qualified candidate should have:

At least 3-5 years extensive and wide-ranging experience gained in a

challenging environment as an accountant or controller

Manufacturing experience Excellent computer and data management skills (Excel, etc.) Experience with Navision software is an asset but not necessary Strong interpersonal skills with strong desire to be a member of the management team of a fast-growing manufacturer Excellent oral and written communications skills A plus, if you have experience with major investments (building, equipment)

Responsibilities include:

 

Reports to General Manager and support him in all financial matters relating to the company's operations and ensuring that an effective accounting/costing is maintained Contact person to our external partners (auditing, insurance, County Council, etc.) Ensuring proper accounting records and accounting controls are maintained Coordination of preparation, evaluation, and implementation of annual budgets Ensuring company's inventory records provide information required for financial, cost accounting and controlling purposes

 

This position is based out of our Columbus, Indiana office.
