BAE Systems, Advanced Technologies (AT), is searching for an experienced Finance Manager to help manage a growing Research & Development Business Area. Job Responsibilities include: * Managing a staff and hands-on responsibility for the Integrated Business Planning Process including Funding, Sales, Profit, Net Cash Flows and Resource Planning * Ensuring audit readiness including EAC/ETC preparation and Data Pack preparation/review * Ensure team is prepared for Financial Controls Audit, Fall 2008 * Management of pricing, capital planning, and expense management activities.

Must have the following:

1. BA/BS in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting or related discipline. 2. 7+ years related work experience. 3. Willingness to travel to meet business or customer needs. 4. Positive interpersonal skills. 5. Able to ensure compliance with applicable FPSs, OG/LOB, etc policies & procedures. 6. Candidates may be subject to a background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required. 7. EVMS proficiency.

Preferences

1. Experience with Cobra (Certification), Oracle, and MS Project. EVMS experience in small/medium research program environment. 2. Familiarity with BAE Financial Accounting Policies. 3. MBA with emphasis in Finance or Accounting. 4. Secret clearance or Eligible for Secret clearance 5. Experience with Financial Planning System (FPS)

Line of Business Statement

The Sensor Systems Line of Business focuses on sensor and precision targeting systems. The Mission Electronics area exploits state-of-the-art infrared, millimeter-wave, and laser technologies to design and fabricate missile seekers, guided munitions, and target designators. The Infrared Imaging systems area produces uncooled IR sensors and related systems for defense, civil and commercial applications. The area has three primary segments: military ground imaging systems, surveillance sensors/systems, and commercial/industrial subsystems. The Sensor Integration area produces robust, highly integrated, mission-critical equipment for detection, situational awareness, and protection for U.S. and allied military forces and homeland security personnel. Key product areas include mine countermeasures, countermeasure dispensers, laser warning systems, and unattended ground sensors. The Flight systems business area provides military and commercial aircraft modification and upgrades, aircraft operations, flight test, and aerial subscale and full-scale targets.
