Finance Manager

The Finance Manager/Government Contract Compliance Manager supports the Practice Business Management team in the organization of government contracts. Manages the day-to-day aspects for all government client accounts including client billing, accounts receivable, contract compliance, and contract closeout.

Essential Responsibilities:

Review monthly client billing and expenses using acceptable financial accounting principles, B-M policies and ensures contract complianceEstablish relationships with clients' accounts payable staff and resolves issues relating to A/RPrepare annual budgets and monitor budgets for government clientsManage all aspects of client audit of government contractsReview RFQs and forward to client service staffPrepare semi-annual small business reportsManage relationship with vendors/consultants working on government accountsAdvise senior & junior accounts service personnel on government contract related issuesServe as a resource for junior accounting staff on issues related to company policy and Oracle-related issuesSupports monthly close as neededParticipate in internal business team meetings and issues reports as appropriate

Qualifications

BS in Accounting and/or Finance Strong analytical skills with a solid background in accounting and/or finance 5-7 years public or private experience required High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in PowerPoint and Word. Oracle a plus.
