A super client of ours, based in Middle Tennessee, is searching for a candidate to fulfill the role of Finance Director, Information Systems. In this key role, you'll report to the CIO and be responsible for directing and coordinating the financial planning and budget management functions for the I.T. organization. You'll be recommending benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance while managing the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts. The Director will also be intimately involved in preparing financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions as well as establishing and implementing short-and long-range departmental goals, objectives and policies.

Additional responsibilities will include:

Appraisal of operating results and return on investment analysis. Management of vendor and outsourcing contracts. Negotiating the best terms and conditions for all IT software, hardware purchases. Leading the governance process. Working with vendors to create surveys of satisfaction with services on a facility as well as an enterprise-wide basis. Working with the CIO and IT management to review inventory and to assist with creations of master agreements for current and future software and hardware purchases. Managing the IT Purchasing team and improving processes and procedures.

Qualifications :
To qualify for consideration for this position, you must meet or exceed the following:

A 4-year degree is required, an Advanced degree in Information Management is preferred (or equivalent major such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, or statistics. 10+ years in an IT Outsourcer and/or IT Financial Analyst role with responsibility for client accounts, outsource management and/or contract management or negotiation. 5+ years experience in a healthcare environment.
