Finance Administrator
About the Position
The Finance Administrator is a full-time employee, based in New York, whose primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, providing primary support to the Finance Department, specifically with contracts and project tracking. The Finance Administrator will be expected to build close relationships with senior management and general staff as well as perform a variety of administrative tasks pertaining to the Finance function of the firm. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Position Responsibilities
Contracts
Responsible for the collaboration with appropriate staff on all aspects of client and affiliate contract preparation, finalization and tracking.
Project Tracking
Responsible for administrative set up of all new projects including database entry, review of contracts and budgets, setting up billing schedule and filing, assistance in client billing, and management of Project Status reports.
Required Skills/Background
Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office Suite 2003 (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Understanding of financial management procedures Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail Able to prepare spread sheets and work with formulas and linkages Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and able to communicate internally with staff of all levels Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and in a team environment. Must be able to effectively prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
