CITY: Bradenton STATE: Florida COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): The Finance Analyst, Global Sourcing, will oversee a total direct material and indirect buy in excess of $750+ MM, supporting teams physically located across 18 different sites across the globe and will be responsible for: Driving & tracking sourcing targets: Ownership of sourcing targets including $13MM deflation for 2008 Continue to develop/refine standard processes to measure performance to sourcing targets including material deflation, indirect usage/deflation, vendor days to pay, vendor lost discounts, supplier reduction, LCC sourcing, vendor performance (fulfillment/quality), auctions, indirect Corporate contract compliance. Enhance processes and tools for tracking deflation projects - Events Tracker Develop and manage commodity hedging and currency strategy business wide Drive outsourcing opportunities with execution of make/buy analysis Support sourcing teams in negotiations with ad-hoc analysis Coordinate GPB / SII / Op plan / SRO requirements for submissions and presentations Support & lead sourcing strategic initiatives: Support implementation of SSS in GE Security Finance support of TPS implementation & tracking Finance support of sourcing functions across all GES sites & businesses Controllership sourcing: Implement controls across payables and purchasing routines Ensure controllership in the sourcing function (user access to SSS, pcard use, payment methods, vendor risk assessment, DOA approval levels, purchasing negotiations, supplier master file access etc) Support Global Supply Chain base costs: Finance support for approximately $66MM global base costs in 2008, including monthly reporting and analysis, coordination of SII / Op plan / SRO requirements, issuing plant targets, preparing pitches for executive leadership team, and ownership of HQ actuals/budgets. Qualifications/Requirements: Candidate should have BA / BS in Accounting or Finance, Business Minimum of 5 or more years in Finance experience. Demonstrated process and excellent analytical skills. Strong PC skills (Excel / PowerPoint / Business Objects / Cognos) Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, working across all levels, functions and global regions. High level of quality / accuracy in his work, detailed oriented, low level of supervision required.
