Position Title: Finance/Accounting Manager – Walter P. Chrysler Museum

This position is secured through a service agreement. A service agreement worker is paid an hourly rate by ChryslerMuseum without entitlement to employee benefits. 

Integral role in the transition of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum to a non-profit organization ensuring appropriate systems and processes are set-up. This position is responsible for the accounting, finance and banking systems, annual budget forecasts, and monthly financial reporting/tracking. Daily activities include reviewing & reconciling daily transaction reports from point-of-sale cash registers and enter data into baking system; review all invoices and post data for month-end accruals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance Minimum three (3) years of accounting/finance experience specifically non-profit.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA CPA Experience working with budgets in non-profit organizations Knowledge of tax/legal issues related to cash donations, gifts of assets, and other investments that donors may wish to contribute

Other Requirements

Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills Strong analytical skills Demonstrated ability for movement into positions of increasing responsibility

Compensation

The ideal candidate can anticipate a competitive salary but is NOT entitled to receive Chrysler benefits
